A Downtown Development Authority (DDA) is designed to be a catalyst in the development of a community’s downtown district. The DDA provides for a variety of funding options, including millage and tax increment financing, for public improvements in the downtown district.
Meetings
The Lyons Downtown Development Authority meets at the Lyons Village Office, 212 Water St. Lyons, Mi, at 6:30 pm on the fourth Monday of every other month, beginning in January of each year. Please see the Events calendar on the website homepage for the specific dates. (https://lyonsvillage.org/)

Lyons DDA Accomplishments
This past summer two local Eagle Scout candidates repainted and refurbished the Comfort Station for their required community projects, as well as, the Hazel DeVore Island Park playground equipment. The full story and photos to come!
